About the Position

• Full-time position with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
\n
• Opportunity to provide care in a comprehensive Pelvic Floor Program
\n
• Fellowship training, board certified/eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery is required
\n
• Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills are preferred
\n
• A large referral base of 2,700 employed providers assures plenty of complex cases
\n
• Successful candidate will be energetic, compassionate and self-motivated
\n
• A keen knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical options for female urinary incontinence is required
\n

• Exercises autonomy in clinical decision-making

• Diagnoses and treats many common acute and chronic problems

• Prescribes and manages medications and other therapies
\n
• Provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic health services

• Performs physical exams and health histories
\n
• Orders and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostic studies

• Performs procedures as applicable to specialty
\n
• Practices in collaboration with all members of the health care team and refers to other providers when necessary
\n
• Engages in research, education, patient advocacy, and administrative activities
\n
• Acts as an educator to mid-levels, nursing, and administrative staff within the office
\n
• Dictates, reviews, and completes medical record upon completion of applicable visit or procedure
\n
• Obtains necessary CME credits in order to maintain necessary state licensure
\n
• Participates in monthly provider and staff meetings and other requested meetings
\n
• Assigns appropriate CPT and ICD9 codes to office and inpatient visits
\n
• Responds to messages and phone calls in a prompt and timely fashion
\n

\n
• Participates in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested.
\n
• Observes the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
\n
• Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.

• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

• Performs other related duties as identified.
