About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: 2+ years License: State Licensure RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: State Licensure RN ACLS BLS Experience with CVPCU, Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery patients Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse in a Step Down specialty. The unit has 23 beds, with patient ratios typically at 1:3 or 1:4. May require floating to other step-down or progressive care units. Candidates should possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Weekend rotation is every third weekend. Holiday rotation is also required.
