Front Desk Associate

CrossFit Union Square (CFUS) is seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate to be part of our team, supporting member satisfaction and all gym operations. CFUS is the premier CrossFit gym in NYC, located in the heart of Manhattan. Our facility features 6,000 square feet of workout space, and is overseen by professional coaches who provide expert guidance and are dedicated to the athletic development of our community. As a Front Desk Associate, you will play an integral role in our members experience and the overall functioning of the gym. Front desk staff are typically the first point of contact for members, drop-ins, and prospective members walking into, calling, and/or emailing the gym. Additionally, your ongoing interactions with vendors and responsibilities around the gym will make the facility run smoothly. Experience, Skills, & Qualifications: 1+ year(s) of previous customer service experience Strong communication skills Positive and personable attitude Highly motivated and driven team player Ability to get things done with limited supervision CrossFit experience or the desire to participate in CrossFit classes is a must Availability to work between the hours of 5am-9:30pm during weekdays and/or 8am-4:30pm on weekends Bonus: Experience with Wodify

CrossFit coaching or personal training experience Key Responsibilities: Being first line of communication in person, on the phone, and/or through email for daily interaction with members, inquiries, vendors, service providers, etc. Support general gym aesthetics, such as cleanliness of front desk, bathrooms, and storage rooms Maintain product knowledge for all retail and gym offerings Ensure all check-in and health/safety policies are enforced for each member Update weekly member-facing programming via Wodify Manage all front desk retail sales Uphold the standards laid out in the front desk manual and other checklists Assist the General Manger, coaches, and management group with tasks as requested Other Details: Part time role with flexible working hours, which can be defined based on the individual $17-19 hourly pay, with potential for increases and periodic bonuses, based on performance Free access to all classes and open gym Discounts on merchandise and other retail Please reach out directly to the hiring manager if interested: View email address on click.appcast.io CrossFit Union Square
