Driver

Driver Position

Compensation from $17.25/hr - $18.00/hr (based upon experience)

Status/Shift:

• Full-time 4 weekdays 9am - 5:30pm, e/o weekend 8am - 4:30pm
• Part-time every weekend: 8:00am-3:00pm

The driver is responsible for safely and courteously transporting residents.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Previous transportation experience as a driver is preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Transports residents in company vehicles to activities and appointments.
• Safely assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates lift equipment necessary to load and unload wheelchairs.
• Assists maintenance department in maintaining vehicles.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Recognizes and reports changes in resident's condition to appropriate team members.
• Provides excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintains a safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices.
• Interacts cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and other team members.
