Data Engineering Manager Location: Burbank, CA; Orlando, FL; Seattle, WA Date posted: Jun. 11, 2026 Job Summary Lead major data platform initiatives within the Data Solutions & Products group, serving as technical leader and product owner. Responsibilities include guiding engineering teams, driving product strategy, collaborating with business stakeholders, and managing the delivery of large‑scale cloud data platforms. What You’ll Do Lead a technical team through delivery of major engineering initiatives. Lead project teams to deliver on‑time, on‑budget, on‑scope. Drive innovation, development, and improvement of software and data solutions. Serve as product owner for data platforms, setting strategy and managing roadmap. Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet their needs. Provide mentorship and career development to team members. Communicate effectively with technical and business audiences. Collaborate to guide and influence technical decision making. Required Qualifications & Skills 8+ years designing, architecting, and programming data solutions using Python, Scala, or Java. Hands‑on experience architecting and managing high‑scale cloud data platforms, including Snowflake. Deep domain expertise in enterprise financial data architectures (e.g., FP&A, modern ledgers, corporate consolidation workflows) and preferably HR data domains. Experience as both a Delivery Manager and Data Product Owner. Proven success leading end‑to‑end execution of large, data‑centric initiatives. Strong record of leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing data engineering teams. Exceptional ability to partner across all levels and translate technical roadmaps for non‑technical executives. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects maintaining scope, budget, and deadlines. Intellectually curious, continuously adopting emerging data technologies and best practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP Systems (S4, BW, HANA, BDC). Experience with EPM Systems (e.g., Oracle EPM). Experience with AI/ML. Experience with Data Governance. Experience with Master Data Management. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field, or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree a plus. The hiring range for this position varies by location: Burbank, CA $171,600–$230,100; Seattle, WA $179,700–$241,000; Orlando, FL $163,400–$219,100 per year.
