A leading global hedge fund is seeking an experienced Technology & Data Project Manager to deliver strategic initiatives across its Middle Office, Data and Post-Trade technology platforms. The role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Data, Trading and Operations, driving projects involving complex financial datasets, technology modernization, data quality and front-to-back investment workflows.

The Role

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and data projects across Middle Office and Post-Trade systems.
• Drive initiatives involving data platforms, data pipelines, data integration, architecture and data quality.
• Manage technology projects supporting trade capture, positions, P&L, reconciliations, settlements and reference data.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Software Engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical delivery plans.
• Oversee data migration, system integration, automation and platform modernization initiatives.
• Manage project timelines, technical dependencies, risks and delivery across multiple engineering teams.
• Apply Agile methodologies to deliver complex projects within a fast-paced investment environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Technology Project Manager, Data Project Manager or Technical Project Manager.
• Proven delivery experience across data engineering, data platforms, data architecture or complex data integration projects.
• Background within hedge funds, investment banking, asset management or financial markets.
• Understanding of Middle Office, Post-Trade or front-to-back trading workflows.
• Ability to work credibly with engineering teams on SQL, databases, APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud technologies.
• Strong experience managing complex technical dependencies, stakeholders and Agile delivery.
