Unit Details

• Labor & Delivery Unit

• 15-room department

• Expected patient ratios: 1:1 – 1:2

• Self-scheduling unit

• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule

• No on-call required

• No floating required

• 48 hours approved

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License.

• BLS Certification required.

• ACLS Certification required.

• NRP Certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.

• Strong experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, postpartum care, and obstetric emergencies.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN Intermediate Certification preferred.

• Epic EMR experience preferred.

• Experience with high-risk antepartum patients and Level II trauma or pediatric facilities preferred.

• Experience with hemorrhage management, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, multiple gestation, VBAC, and neonatal emergencies preferred.
