Job Description ABOUT THE JOB In this role you will Supervise Quality inspection responsibilities for auditor team to maintain product quality standards in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will act as a liaison with Production and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve Production process Quality as directed by Quality Manager. YOUR ROLE:
- Supervise an Auditor team, which includes managing time & attendance, developing skills and responsibilities, coaching, and other people management tasks
- Enforce Quality requirements and standards for manufacturing products including inspection areas in Production
- Develop and maintain standard work and schedules for Auditor team
- Lead and participate in problem solving events responding to both non-conforming material and continuous improvement initiatives
- Update work instructions, forms and other documents to maintain the Quality System
- Maintain documentation, non-conforming material log, and issue tracking for activities including layered process audits, gemba walks and start-up or shut-down checklist reviews.
- Support a 24/7 operation
- Actively support the improvement of Health and Safety practices throughout the business.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 year's supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- ISO/QS 9001 systems knowledge
- Engineering or Management Bachelor's degree
- Prior Quality supervision experience
- Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor
