Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this school-based setting, you’ll work full-time (30-37 hours per week) as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital services to a diverse caseload of approximately 80 students. As needs may shift, flexibility is key—your dedication will truly make a difference in students’ school experiences.

Preferred candidates are enthusiastic SLP professionals, ready to embrace collaboration with staff and families while helping students reach their goals. Both those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) professionals are encouraged to apply.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid or eligible Virginia SLP licensure
• CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
• Strength in serving school-aged populations, with excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic caseload environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement IEP goals based on current evaluations
• Deliver direct therapy services within school settings
• Use Log Wizard for detailed session logging
• Accurately complete VA Medicaid billing logs (training provided)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student support
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
