Job Description:

The Junior Data Analyst will support business operations by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on key performance data. This individual will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain reporting tools, monitor trends, assist with project initiatives, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support analytics initiatives and business projects.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and reporting schedules to ensure objectives are met.
• Gather and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support maintenance of reporting systems, data repositories, and data integrations.
• Prepare clear, concise summaries and recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Document reporting procedures and assist with process improvement efforts.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging data tools to support ongoing enhancements.
• Provide backup support for related digital operations functions when needed.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, charts, formulas, and data manipulation.
• Experience creating reports and presenting findings to business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within banking, financial services, credit unions, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience working with databases, data warehouses, or reporting platforms.
