Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specializing in emergency care, located at a general emergency department serving adult and pediatric patients. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma, stroke, and STEMI-certified cases. The position offers an opportunity to work rotating day and mid shifts, including every other weekend, with a varied patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days (07:00-19:30) and mid shifts (11:00-23:30); minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license from a state within the United States or a compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, and CPI certification (on-site during onboarding).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, patient ratio experience, Epic charting system proficiency, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience, and experience with adult and pediatric emergency care.
• Patient Age Range: Neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
• Patient Census: Approximately 90 visits per day across 32 rooms with 36 beds.
• Additional Responsibilities: Floating within the emergency department and other designated EDs, working every other weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
