Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with a Med Surg specialty for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This is an opportunity to work in a 28-bed MS unit providing comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients, age 65 and older, who require acute inpatient care or close observation. The role is ideal for a nurse looking to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide 24/7 nursing care to geriatric patients
• Manage overflow Medical and/or Surgical patients
• Incorporate the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility into patient care
• Prevent functional decline and address acute medical needs
• Perform phlebotomy and manage IVs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
• 12 months of Epic experience within the last year
• Accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE
• Experience in drawing and maintaining IVs
• Flexibility to float as needed
