Transitions Analyst I

California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) is a self‑supporting state agency that provides productive work opportunities and job skills to incarcerated individuals to reduce recidivism and increase public and prison safety. CALCTRA is hiring a Transitions Analyst I (Job Control Number JC‑518504) on a limited‑term basis, with the potential to be extended up to 24 months and possibly become permanent. Work Environment The position is based near historic Folsom, offering a hybrid telework schedule. The office is not located within a prison facility. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analytical functions to support transition‑to‑employment services for incarcerated individuals before and after release. Perform community outreach and collaborate with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Provide technical research and program analysis for the Industry Employment Program (IEP). Engage with community partners and other agencies to coordinate multi‑step programs and services. Minimum Requirements Position level: ANALYST I – see Class Specification for detailed qualifications. Desirable Qualifications Experience with data systems, logs, and related tools. Experience with data analysis and report preparation. Experience supporting policy or procedural development. Experience in training and field support. Experience in reentry employment coordination.
