Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob descriptionWe are currently hiring in our Hayward location. We offer a preschool program for Infant, Toddlers and Preschoolers. We follow an emergent curriculum, learning through play.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE- The position requires the state of California minimum requirements for teaching at a daycare or a teacher’s permit. Minimum requirement is to have 6 ECE units and be enrolled in a minimum of 3 more units until all 12 units are completed.-Infant / Toddler class mandatory an additional 3 units-No experience necessary we are willing to train.OTHER REQUIREMENTS- CPR and First Aide a plus but not necessary.- Live Scan fingerprinting mandatory.- Two references.- Flexible work schedule.- Able to lift at least 30 lbs.- Must be PASSIONATE about children.- Current tuberculosis test. Must be willing to have a physical.- Proficiency in speaking and writing English.- Mandated Reporter training- Sexual Harassment trainingRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:1. Prepare a weekly curriculum.2. Create a literacy rich environment by reading books to children3. Plan, prepare and execute art projects.4. Provide attention to each child, responding to their needs for feeding, changing, napping and other routines5. Maintain the health, safety and education of the children6. Be a team player7. Assist with meals and snack preparation8. Stimulate emotional, intellectual and social growth of children by developing and directing age appropriate educational programs and activities9. Motivated to work with children of all ages.10. Arrive punctually.11. Assist with toileting and diapering.12.
