HVAC/R Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Location: PLYMOUTH, Michigan

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.

• Conduct inspections of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across HVAC/R systems, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, utilizing CMMS systems such as Corrigo.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3rd Party Certification preferred.

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment.

• HVAC Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).

• Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work at heights, and operate ladders up to 30 feet.
