Direct Support Professional – Overnight Sleep Shift

Locations : Hudson, Chatham and Valatie

Rate of Pay : The base pay for this position ranges from $17.00 to $17.25 per hour, depending on the assigned worksite. In addition, select worksites offer a $2.00 per hour stipend on weekends, which is added to the base rate.

All shifts include paid sleep hours in a residential support setting. These five (5) overnight sleep positions are benefit-eligible and accrue paid time off (PTO) on a bi-weekly basis. Eligible employees receive access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, Dental, Vision, and retirement.

• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Position - 2 - 40 Hours/Week - Chatham, NY

• Monday 10pm - 8am

• Tuesday 10pm - 8am

• Wednesday 10pm - 8am

• Thursday 10pm - 8am

Positions - 3 - 32 Hours/Week - Hudson, NY

• Thursday 9pm - 9am

• Friday 11pm - 9am

• Saturday 11pm - 9am

Position - 4 - 40 Hours/Week - Valatie

• Sunday 11pm - 9am

• Monday 11pm - 9am

• Tuesday 11pm - 9am

• Wednesday 11pm - 9am

Position - 5 - 31 Hours/Week - Hudson

• Thursday 11pm - 8am

• Friday 11pm - 9am

• Saturday 9pm - 9am

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll:

• Assist individuals in making choices and decisions that enhance their independence.

• Support daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

• Encourage participation in community activities and social events.

• Provide emotional and physical support, fostering a safe and respectful environment.

• Document and communicate progress, ensuring person-centered care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (TASC) preferred.

• Exceptional communication and computer skills.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to be certified in all required trainings.

• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.

• One-year experience working with persons with disabilities (preferred).
