Administrative Assistant - Catering and Banquets

Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs for the Banquet and Catering Department. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
• Maintain confidential files.
• Assist with temporary staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
• Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with peers, Supervisor, and vendors/clients.
• Preview temp agency invoices for accuracy for payment approval.
• Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
• Develop and maintain all menu tags for banquet and catering events.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
