Role Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests across various disciplines-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-in accordance with established standards.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen acquisition and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and help uphold standards of lab excellence.
• Maintain a tidy, safe workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with a commitment to achieving ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Ensure that current certification remains valid throughout the duration of employment.
