Project Facilitator -Bachelors in Education Required

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school‑based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. The network also includes 12 community medicine sites providing care to underserved New Yorkers, comprehensive HIV services, chemical dependency programs, and a family support center that offers educational, vocational, and other social support programs. Position Summary The Project Facilitator works within the Sunset Park Family Child Care Network to build strength‑based relationships with affiliated providers. The role supports them in implementing high‑quality play‑based instruction, provides coaching, documents sessions, assists with child assessment data, and helps adapt curricula to meet the needs of all children in mixed‑age settings. The Facilitator also coordinates professional learning days, participates in staff learning sessions, collaborates with the FCC Education Director and related staff, and performs outreach and administrative tasks to support the network. Job Responsibilities Provide twice monthly strength‑based coaching to up to 17 affiliated providers as they implement a mixed‑age curriculum. Document all coaching sessions. Assist providers in gathering observations of children, entering child assessment data, and using the data for curriculum and lesson planning. Review and adapt curriculum supports and documents with providers to foster developmentally appropriate, relationship‑based interactions. Guide providers in implementing an evidence‑based curriculum for mixed‑age group settings that meets individual child needs. Support the FCC Education Director in coordinating all required professional learning days throughout the year. Participate in Network staff professional learning sessions. Collaborate with the FCC Education Director, FCC Family Support Worker, and FCC Monitors to meet the needs of all children and families. Perform other tasks as assigned by Program Leadership. Participate in twice monthly FCC Network staff meetings to discuss individual providers, families, and coordinate services. Assist in ongoing outreach, enrollment, and other administrative tasks. Minimum Qualifications • BA/BS in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler Studies • 2 years of experience teaching children under six years old Preferred Qualifications • 3 years of experience teaching children under six years old • Willingness to travel within the FCC Network catchment area • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member • Effective communication with all levels of the organization Family Health Centers at NYU Langone provides its staff with extensive benefits and a wellness program covering physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, social, financial, and preventive care.
