What you'll do Act as the finance partner to one of the Atoms business units, owning forecasting, planning, and performance management. Work closely with business leaders and the CFO, you'll translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform growth, drive efficiency, and guide capital allocation. Manage budgeting and long-range planning, build and own best-in-class financial models, and evaluate critical initiatives across revenue, margin, and cost structure. You'll track performance against KPIs, identify the underlying drivers of variance, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of your business unit. Partner closely with operations, product, and go-to-market teams, you'll guide decisions on pricing, resource allocation, and cost optimization, ensuring capital is deployed with discipline and aligned to the company's highest-impact priorities. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in a STEM or highly analytical field. 2-3 years in an investment-facing environment (e.g. Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Hedge Funds), with direct exposure to deploying capital or supporting investment decisions. 1-3 years in an in-house finance role, partnering closely with operators to drive business performance. Strong problem-solving ability, with structured thinking and a high degree of intellectual rigor. Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. What else you need to know This role is based in our New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
