Psycho-educational Assessment Library (PAL) Manager

Position Overview The Psycho-educational Assessment Library (PAL) stores and lends assessment materials to DU students, faculty and alums in the areas of cognitive, academic/achievement, attention and executive functioning, social emotional, and autism scales. The PAL Coordinator maintains and updates the library, assists faculty with all aspects of assessment management, including ordering materials, liaising with publication companies, tracking kits and protocols, checking out materials, and other related tasks. Key Responsibilities Oversee and maintain all assessment and instructional materials within PAL. Update the database on PAL assessments and protocols. Ensure ethical assessment practices by monitoring and replenishing assessments/protocols in a timely manner. Establish and maintain relationships with publication companies and apply educational discounts to all ordered materials. Identify and review newly published assessments and assist in monitoring the annual budget for assessment materials. Handle all check‑out and return procedures. Collaborate with faculty teaching core assessment and clinic classes to ensure students have access to and return required course materials. Notify faculty of any policy or student‑lending concerns during and at the end of each academic quarter. Other Functions Typical office environment includes moderate to high stress and quiet to moderate noise levels. Physical activities: sit in front of a computer for extended period; occasionally move around the office or campus and transport objects up to 20 lbs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing. Physical proficiency to maneuver around an office. High level of organization and timeliness. Strong interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications Current DU graduate student enrolled for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Professional oral, written, and e‑communication skills. Currently enrolled or having passed with a B or better in CFSP 4304 or CFSP 4351. Demonstrates excellence in executive functioning skills (planning, organization, initiative, working memory, time management, and other goal‑directed behaviors). Interest in school psychology, psycho‑educational assessments. Eligible for a Work Study Award.
