Make a difference in the lives of students across multiple schools by providing essential support as a school-based social worker. This full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year presents an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or willingness to secure one prior to starting
• Previous experience as a school social worker is strongly preferred
• Ability to support a K-12 caseload, serving approximately 45 students across at least two schools
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to connect with students at varying ability levels and diverse backgrounds
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement services that address students’ needs, support learning, and promote progress toward individualized goals
• Engage students using strategies tailored to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills
• Maintain a safe, supervised environment for all students in accordance with established health, safety, welfare, and educational policies
• Communicate high expectations and provide ongoing support to inspire students’ growth
• Act as a resource for students and staff, ensuring that each child receives support suited to their unique needs
