LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a private equity-backed, high growth organization headquartered in Pennsauken, NJ. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong accounting foundation who is eager to expand into the finance side of the business through mentorship and hands on exposure. This role offers meaningful visibility, career progression, and the opportunity to partner closely with leadership in a fast paced environment. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting core accounting operations while being mentored in financial analysis, reporting, and broader finance initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who wants to build a well rounded accounting and finance skill set within a dynamic, PE backed organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the month end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and analyze detailed balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
• Assist with cash flow analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Support audits, PE reporting requirements, and ad hoc financial projects
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting as the company scales
• Collaborate cross functionally in a fast paced, high growth environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong accounting foundation with hands on general ledger and close experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (required)
• Experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non accounting stakeholders
