Equipment Delivery Driver# Equipment Delivery DriverBobcat of Abilene - Abilene, TX 79602## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description* Secures equipment by checking availability of equipment with shop (performs research to determine when unavailable equipment will become available);* Provides adequate notice to Rental and Branch Manager for upcoming equipment requirements;* Resolves customer complaints if necessary regarding transportation of equipment to or from customers location* Supports sales and marketing efforts by forwarding equipment inquiries to the sales group, and acting as a liaison in respect to product promotions and rental programs* Records and maintains lost rent logs* Reviews reports and provides regular feedback* Follows Standard Operating Procedures* Trains other employees as needed* May be responsible for other tasks, including assisting with stocking and maintaining shop displays, merchandise, loading and unloading equipment, dispatching, timekeeping, and/or performing basic maintenance to equipment* Represents the Company at factory, industry and company events, including meetings and training* Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook* Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner## Qualifications* High School Diploma, GED or vocational training/certification* Current unexpired and unrestricted Drivers license* CDL or ability to obtain one* Equipment rental industry experience preferred* Strong telephone and customer service skills* Some Night / Weekend work may be required* Ability to use good judgement, think quickly and solve problems* Experience with Microsoft Office suite* Experience with business systems a plus* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a can-do attitude* Equipment knowledge or previous industry experience a plus* Personal appearance must be neat and clean and communication and behavior must be professional and respectful at all times* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear* Background check and pre-employment drug testing required* Certain positions require a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; the Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business #J-18808-Ljbffr
