Job Quick Facts Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Arlington, Texas Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Labor & Delivery Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Staffing Coverage Period: Starting November 2026 Ongoing Coverage Type: 24-Hour In-House Call Shifts Needed to be Filled: 46 shifts per month Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Call Schedule: 24-hour in-house OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage Call Ratio: Shared hospitalist coverage model Call Response Time: Immediate in-house response Patient Demographics: Obstetric and gynecologic patients Patient Volume: Approximately 1,3001,500 births annually at facility Phone Consults: Yes Admissions: Yes Rounding Included: Yes % of Practice: Labor & Delivery / OBED / Emergency OB-GYN Care Physicians in Practice: OB/GYN Hospitalists, CNMs, Family Medicine Physicians Support Staff: In-house Neonatologist 24/7 Anesthesia coverage Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) Family Medicine Physicians Multidisciplinary L&D support staff Specialty Backup: Level III NICU and full obstetrical support services Case Mix: OB Emergency Department evaluations Labor management High-risk obstetrical emergencies Postpartum care Gynecologic consults Unassigned OB/GYN patient management Procedures: Vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections Emergency obstetrical procedures Fetal heart tracing interpretation Labor management and emergency response Office Equipment: Standard Labor & Delivery and surgical equipment Beds in the Dept: Hospital bed size: 369 Trauma Level: Acute Care Hospital EMR: Epic Other Info: No office call responsibilities Providers participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives Evidence-based maternal and neonatal safety protocols utilized Robotics training required through accredited OB/GYN residency Dedicated antepartum area for high-risk pregnancies Private maternity suites and two cesarean birth suites available NICU Level: Level III NICU (20 beds) Hospital Privileges Available: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Not specified Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered Requirements: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency with robotics training Active TX license or IMLC DEA Recent Delivery & Surgical Experience Willing to License: Yes
