Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Join HMD Trucking as an experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver based near Shreveport, LA to handle nationwide freight assignments. You’ll run long-distance dry van routes, maintain cargo security, and meet scheduled deliveries. Pay starts at 65 CPM with average weekly miles around 2,500 and additional bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals. Drivers operate modern tractors under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by reliable in-house maintenance. Expect home every two weeks and access to full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Key Duties:

• Operate dry van equipment safely and protect freight integrity.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
