Senior Mechanical EngineerKimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to expand our Mechanical Practice in Phoenix, Arizona. As a leader at Kimley-Horn you will serve clients by winning and delivering exceptional work, managing projects profitably, and mentoring the next generation.ResponsibilitiesServe as the project manager, overseeing MEP design execution for various projects.Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gasDaily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn officesPrepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the local market and across the countryCoordinate with architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers and other disciplines for equipment power needs and sizing electrical distributionLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading an MEP practiceQualifications10+ years of experience in MEP design for within an engineering consulting environmentAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
