Plant Manager (Hands-On Leader)

We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front, and drives both performance and accountability.

This is not a sit-behind-the-desk leadership role. We are looking for a shop floor–oriented Plant Manager who is deeply engaged with daily operations, coaches teams in real time, and takes ownership of results.

The ideal candidate is decisive, action-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement while building a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.

• Lead from the Floor

  • Maintain a strong, daily presence on the shop floor
  • Engage directly with production teams to solve problems and remove barriers
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations

• Drive Performance & Growth

  • Execute strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational growth and expansion
  • Monitor KPIs and take decisive action to meet or exceed targets

• Build Accountability

  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results
  • Address performance issues directly and constructively
  • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and follow-through

• Operational Leadership

  • Oversee production, quality, maintenance, and logistics functions
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean manufacturing, waste reduction, process optimization)

• Team Development

  • Coach, develop, and mentor supervisors and frontline leaders
  • Build a strong leadership pipeline within the plant
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and high performance

• Decision-Making & Execution

  • Make timely, informed decisions with confidence
  • Take ownership of outcomes and adjust quickly as needed
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

• Proven experience in a manufacturing Plant Manager or senior operations leadership role
• Strong track record of hands-on leadership and shop floor engagement
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and growth
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on accountability and results
• Strong problem-solving and decisive decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead through change
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
