Business Manager

Start Date: On or about August 17, 2026 Salary: Annual salary of $125,000.00 plus benefit package Terms of Employment: Probationary Appointment, 12-month position Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Business and the Superintendent of Schools Job Summary The Business Manager is a district level position that reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent for Business and the Superintendent of Schools. The Business Manager shall have responsibility for audits (internal, external, audit comments), grants, contracts, accounts receivable, implementation of Timepiece and special projects as assigned. Emphasis of the work is on the maintenance of accurate financial records and the preparation of financial reports and preliminary budgets. Supervision is exercised over a staff of general clerical, account keeping and non-professional personnel. Qualifications State Education Department Certification - SDA (School District Administrator) or SDBL Experience, working in a school district business office and/or audit and accounting work. Audit experience (internal & external) Ability to effectively manage time and fiscal resources Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge operational functions of nVision financial management system. Willingness to learn and grow professionally Knowledge of accounting methods and report preparation Knowledge of grant processing and requirements Knowledge of the methods and procedures used in budget preparation #J-18808-Ljbffr Riverhead Central School District
