Driver Manager

Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Driver Manager in Chambersburg, PA to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. The Driver Manager will act as a link between the business, our drivers and customers. Responsibilities: * Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. * Balance the needs of our customers, drivers and the business. * Provide continuous, structured and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers. * Manage driver payroll and home time. * Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business. Skills and qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills. * Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, both internally and externally.
