This is a client that I have made several placements with over the years and they have a great culture but the plants are in not so great locations. The plant is started being built and hoping to be operational by June/July of next year. The person will start working from home for the first 3 months but must be willing to travel 3 out of 4 weeks per month for the first 3 months and then move to Defiance Ohio. Environmental Manager will lead a team and be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining compliance with all environmental programs. Need someone with strong leadership experience that has previous experience coaching, mentoring, and developing people. The person should have at least 5 years of environmental experience in manufacturing and have experience in the following areas to be considered: wastewater, stormwater, permitting, air, and waste. The person must be willing to travel to other plants in SC and PA for the first 3 months and after that must be willing to move to Defiance OH. Travel is 3 out of 4 weeks per month working from home which will be the biggest challenge other than location.
