Job Title: Materials Coordinator – 1st Shift Location: Dayton, MN Compensation: $24.00-$30.00 per hour – paid weekly Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday Job Type: Temp About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Materials Coordinator for a thermal solutions manufacturing company in Dayton, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure materials are available and accurately tracked throughout the production process while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do as a Materials Coordinator – 1st Shift Maintain accurate inventory visibility and material tracking throughout the facility Monitor material locations, quantities, and staging statuses Coordinate material movement to support production schedules Identify and communicate material shortages that may impact operations Work closely with Production and other departments to ensure material readiness Assist with inventory audits and inventory control processes Support receiving, staging, and shipping activities as needed What You Need to Bring to the Materials Coordinator – 1st Shift Role Previous inventory, materials, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with production and operations teams Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical duties throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Reliable transportation to Dayton, MN Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long‑term stability where applicable.
