Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at multiple client locations throughout Maryland. This position requires frequent travel to various facilities to train cleaning staff, perform quality inspections, ensure company standards are met, and deliver cleaning products and equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple commercial client locations throughout Maryland on a regular basis: Baltimore Area, Sliver Spring Area, Rockville Area and Germantown Area. 
• Train new and existing janitorial employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, equipment operation, and company policies.
• Conduct routine quality assurance inspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Identify performance issues and provide coaching, retraining, and corrective action when necessary.
• Deliver cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and other products to customer locations as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking of supplies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete inspection reports, training documentation, and daily activity logs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and coverage for employee absences when needed.
• Respond to emergency service requests and after-hours issues as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial janitorial supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience training employees in commercial cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in using smartphones, email, and basic computer applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Requirements

• Valid Maryland driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively throughout Maryland.
• Must have a working cell phone with the capabilities to download applications.
• Great communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
• Dependable and punctual individuals with strong attention to detail
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial office, healthcare, educational, or industrial cleaning.
• Quality assurance or inspection experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
