Position Overview We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a crucial member of our expanding team dedicated to providing outstanding imaging services. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform essential diagnostic procedures, working closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to help deliver timely and clear imaging for our patients. Key Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining every step with empathy
- Work in collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
- Regularly operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any issues
- Meticulously document all procedures and maintain patient files in our electronic medical record system
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound practices and methodologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent recognized credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- High technical competence in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting
