CT Technologist PRN

Location East Plano – Envision Imaging, 1861 N. Central Expressway, Ste 500, Plano, TX 75075, USA Allen – Envision Imaging, 1111 Raintree Cir, Suite 100, Allen, TX 75013, USA Position Summary Envision Imaging seeks a PRN CT Technologist at our Allen/Wylie/Plano, TX locations. PRN (As‑Needed) | Position Pay Range: $35.35 - $45.57. The CT Technologist performs CT examinations, positions the patient, and utilizes proper technical factors and computer programs to provide high‑quality images and tissue‑density values. Essential Functions Interface with patients to ascertain medical history and explain procedures. Review patient charts for missing clinical information and consent; screen for implants, contrast allergies, etc. Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform quality scans for radiologist interpretation. Attend to patient care before, during, and after exams; notify appropriate parties if conditions change. Transfer images to other locations as required. Coordinate scan protocols with the radiologist. Maintain equipment, inspect regularly, and report quality concerns, failures, or deficiencies immediately. Interface with the Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Conditions This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation (minimized by protective equipment), bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, and ionizing radiation is possible. The environment may be cool, dimly lit, and requires work in small spaces. Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions. While performing duties, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Handling, feeling, operating tools or controls with hands and fingers and reaching with hands and arms is required. Frequent speaking and hearing is required. Vision required: close vision and ability to adjust focus. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications / Experience: Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred. Ability to educate patients about procedures. Detail oriented, self‑motivated, problem solver, and team player. Ability to excel in a fast‑paced team environment. Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectations. Education / Certifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Registry in Computed Tomography (CT). Current license from state medical board (if applicable). Current CPR certification. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position.
