ABOUT OUR RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Radiology Department conducts approximately 25,000 imaging examinations each year, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D mammography. Our CT and general x-ray services are available around the clock, while ultrasound and MRI services are provided on weekdays, with weekend ultrasound call coverage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled CT/Mammography/Radiologic Technologist who excels in customer service.

Cross-training into additional modalities and obtaining certification (as per the needs of the Radiology Department) is mandatory, along with existing certification in CT or mammography.

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing routine, trauma, and intraoperative radiological imaging.

In addition to a competitive salary, this role offers the following differentials:

  • Evening Shift: $3/hour
  • Night Shift: $5/hour
  • Weekend Shift: $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)
  • Per Diem: $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have successfully completed a formal radiological technology program from a CAHEA accredited institution and hold certification from the ARRT or an equivalent body.

A current, unrestricted Vermont state license to practice radiologic technology is required.

Demonstrated proficiency as a licensed professional is essential, including ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of Radiologic Technology.

Maintaining certification in the specific modality is necessary.

CT or mammography certification is a prerequisite.

SHIFTS/HOURS

Work shifts will vary according to departmental requirements.
