The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled. The role requires caring for a diverse patient population with various medical conditions. The nurse will primarily manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6, which may vary based on patient acuity. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend, including both Saturday and Sunday. Holidays will be included in the rotation schedule. Scrubs must be royal blue, and professionalism is expected at all times. Respiratory therapy support will be available 24/7 for patient care needs. Nurses will be expected to administer medications and perform nursing procedures effectively. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with nursing aides and other team members. The nurse may receive shift-specific orientation with a preceptor.
