Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer: Full Time Airport Patrol Equipment Checks in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal professional at an airport location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide welcoming customer service to travelers and staff. Use communication and technology skills while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activities, and report security-related concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
