The region also offers renowned cultural institutions, including the Cleveland Museum of Art and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a vibrant restaurant and music scene, and professional sports teams including the Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, and Monsters.View our Northeast Ohio Relocation Guide to learn more about living and working in the Cleveland area.What You Will DoThe physician provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and ongoing care for patients within their area of expertise.Responsibilities include:Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.Refer patients to specialists and other patient care services as appropriate.Educate, train, and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.Participate in the daily operations of medical programs, patient care units, or research activities, as applicable.Direct and coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff as required.Follow established departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement objectives, and safety and infection control standards.Participate in health promotion, patient education, and prevention programs, as appropriate.Maintain departmental productivity expectations.Maintain faculty status in good standing with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, if applicable.Adhere to core physician obligations as outlined in the Physician Policy Manual.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Comply with all organizational policies and standards, including requirements related to the safe and secure maintenance of Protected Health Information (PHI). a { text-decoration: none; } tr th, tr td { } tr th { } EducationDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.Eligibility for an academic appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at a level commensurate with experience.Training & ExperienceCompletion of appropriate residency and fellowship training, as required for the specialty.Board certified or board eligible in the applicable medical specialty.Licensure & CertificationEligible for or currently holds an unrestricted State of Ohio medical license.Federal DEA certification, as applicable.Required specialty licensure and/or certification.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within the physician's area of expertise.Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to the delivery of medical care.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.Ability to supervise, mentor, and educate clinical professionals, residents, and/or medical students.Knowledge of relevant medications and non-pharmaceutical treatment options.Ability to develop and present educational programs and workshops.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Knowledge of applicable accreditation and certification requirements.Ability to effectively observe, assess, document, and communicate patient symptoms, reactions, treatment plans, and progress.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Epic preferred.Travel: Approximately 10%Job ID: 2600095SEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Area: PhysicianPosted Date: 22/09/2026
