Job Summary and Qualifications

You will be responsible for the daily operations of the facility's central energy plant, and the main plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system. Utilizing a working knowledge of boilers, chillers, and other plant equipment, and ensures the plant consistently runs efficiently, safely, and smoothly.

What you will do in this role:

• Operate boilers in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper water chemistry, alternative fuel operations, and safety equipment functionality.
• Operate the chiller plant in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring proper operating pressures, temperature differentials, and water chemistry.
• Operate medical gas source equipment in a safe and efficient manner ensuring proper operating parameters, equal equipment run times, and safety equipment functionality.
• Operate air distribution equipment (AHUs) in a safe efficient manner, ensuring proper air pressurization, space temperatures, and equipment cleanliness.
• Interact with facility management leadership for reporting.
• Monitor the plant equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working order, and repair or replace equipment as it becomes necessary.
