About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Hereford, Texas, 79045!

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 7-day assignment in Texas, commencing Oct 31, 2026. The client is a Level IV Trauma Center where you will work 12-hour shifts (7-7). You will be responsible for managing emergency codes, performing all lifesaving procedures including intubation and ventilation management, conducting H&P, and caring for a diverse patient demographic.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate within a Trauma Center environment
• Perform all lifesaving procedures
• Execute intubation procedures
• Perform extubation procedures
• Manage ventilation
• Conduct History and Physical (H&P) examinations
• Respond to and manage emergency codes

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Family Medicine is required
• EMR utilized is T-System
• This facility is a Trauma Center with ER beds
• Patient demographic consists of 20% Trauma, 30% Pediatric, and 25% Geriatric cases
• Staffing mix includes 2 Family Practice physicians, 1 Pediatrician, and 4 Family Nurse Practitioners
