Operating Room Nurse

Operating Room Nurse at Upper Bay Surgery Center The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including older adults through geriatric, and pediatric patients 8 years and older. Our scope of service includes Ortho, Spine, Podiatry, General, Pain Management and Surgical Dermatology. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Minimum two years previous OR experience. Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. Tactful patient, family, physician, and employee communication skills. Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurses. Pay Range $47.00/hr - $50.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
