Job Description• Able to provide On-call Support Participate in Applying Service Packs and Hot-fixes to SQL server Environment. • Participate in remediating SQL Server Audit Reports Perform Database Refreshes from Production to Development, Test environment. • Participate with SQL Team in monitoring server performance, utilize monitoring tools, SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor and Configuration Monitor Knowledge and experience with Clustering and High-availability a plus.• Capable of multitasking and working with Variety of people. Ability to identify and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, Memory, and I/O Resource contention. Install and Configure new SQL server instances. • Working knowledge across SQL 2000, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012.• Has basic knowledge of ITIL change management standards / process / procedures.• Team player, Motivated to learn new skills and follow though projects end-to-end.• Has experience in on call rotation for urgent issues.• Strong communication and collaboration skills .• Knowledge of Remedity ticketing system.• Additional comments: Drug test / background check required.
