Registered Nurse Operating Room

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour Sign On Bonus: $20,000 (available to eligible new hires) Job Summary As a Registered Nurse Operating Room, you will influence patient care through collaboration with managers and broader nursing initiatives. You will help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Responsibilities Bring your OR Nurse specialized skills to specific age groups (adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations). Prepare each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment in assigned areas. Assist with post-procedure workload including cleaning rooms between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure. Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate in accordance with the competency level of all staff members. May rotate to areas other than OR, performing only duties for which you have demonstrated competency. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or a current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting required. CNOR preferred.
