Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This role involves working in a busy surgical environment, providing patient care and assisting with various surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
• Shift: 12-hour days, weekends as scheduled
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification, licensure to submit, willing to wait for license; minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; experience with scrubbing; CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (AHA) certification.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekends as scheduled; rotating weekday call from 6:45 PM to 11:15 PM with a 30-minute response time. Call rooms are available at the hospital. Midnight call is available but typically covered by staff; one or two weekend calls every six weeks, consisting of 3 or 4 shifts. Holiday coverage by call rotation.
• Additional Information: Call response time is 30 minutes; float rotation may be required to areas such as endoscopy, vascular, urogynecology, and orthopedics if comfortable. Orientation typically includes 2 shifts, with additional pairing on call shifts if needed.
