Job Description:

If you're an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic looking for long‑term work with consistent projects, this is a great opportunity for you!

A company is seeking Sheet Metal Mechanics to install galvanized and double‑wall ductwork for HVAC systems. This role involves measuring, cutting, fitting, and hanging ductwork and VAV boxes while working from blueprints and utilizing hand and power tools. The current project is expected to run through the end of the year, with additional projects already scheduled afterward.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted on-site at Lockheed Martin. Once badged, orientation is completed at 8 AM, with work hours from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Collaborate with other mechanics and trade partners in a dynamic environment. Safety is paramount, with a requirement for PPE including a hardhat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, and a high-visibility t-shirt or vest.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Titusville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
