This contract opportunity offers full-time hours in an itinerant position, providing diverse, hands-on experience across multiple school sites in the vibrant Fort Myers area. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Experience or interest in working with school-aged children and adolescents
• Flexibility to travel between assigned schools (itinerant across multiple PK-12 sites)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and best practices in all student interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students with a variety of needs, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and provide ongoing evaluations to determine student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to support students’ participation in the educational setting
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams

Additional Details:

• Full-time schedule, up to 37.5 hours weekly, for the duration of the academic year (August 2026 – May 2027)
• Completion of fingerprinting required; if carried out previously within FL, verification or re-print may be necessary; JLA badge issuance is part of onboarding
