Physical Therapist Assistant

Colquitt Regional Senior Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Our facility is a 59-bed skilled nursing center that provides exceptional short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized medical support for older adults in a warm and patient-centered environment. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with experienced physical and occupational therapy staff, nursing, and other health care providers to deliver high-quality, individualized care. Complies with and follows treatment program established by the Physical Therapist. Conducts objective clinical testing. Assists in gathering data during tests and measurements. Immediately reports all patient changes, unexpected responses, problems to the assigned Physical Therapist before modifying a treatment program. Documents patient treatments performed daily including progress notes on inpatients and outpatients. Supervises supportive personnel. Gives direction to aides and volunteers who may be assisting in patient care. Provides patient and family education and gives instructions that are clear and complete. Qualifications Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Georgia Associates or better in Physical Therapy. BLS Certification Strong clinical reasoning skills with a passion for patient-centered care. Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
