Founded in 1916 by Dr. Walter Baker, a surgeon from South Bend, our clinic was inspired by a visit to the renowned Mayo Clinic, the first large multi-specialty group practice of its kind. Motivated by this experience, Dr. Baker returned home and collaborated with five other specialists to establish a similar organization, which evolved into our clinic. Today, we encompass ten campuses and nearly 150 providers across more than twenty specialties. Despite our significant growth over the past century, we remain committed to the founding principles of patient-centered, physician-led healthcare.
