Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and assisting with the transfer of surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• Licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state
